Army Veteran, Wanda “Sistah Soldier” Petty Launches First Television Show to Celebrate Resilience and Courage of Past and Present Military Women

Dallas, TX, USA – February 2, 2021 – Army Veteran Wanda “Sistah Soldier” Petty is thrilled to announce that on February 11, 2021, from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. EST, a virtual Premiere Launch will be held to reveal her new show, “SHE VET iNspires,” on the award-winning Zondra TV Network, which is available on Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV. SHE VET iNSPIRES focuses on healing properties resulting when using “Arts” to help women discover their voice, own their creativity, and access successful blueprints to ignite their artistic skills.

Transferring her human resource experience, Sistah Soldier created and produced the SHE VET iNspires television show to promote hope and inspiration for female veterans and their families in transition. The show idealized as a result of her being assigned and medically discharged as a wounded warrior from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center along with many of her peers.

Viewers will discover how creative skills can help them adjust while pursuing a professional career – before, during, or after transitioning–and can allow them to become more expressive and integrate smoothly. The host introduces a diverse array of guests (both civilian and military) who share their experience in their careers and the creative industries.

Sistah Soldier often says, “When we are able to embrace our own freedom, we can inspire others, Soar Out Loud™, and impact trillions of lives.”

Many veterans exit the military, masking their passion behind a career built during their service. Until the struggle of integration becomes blatantly obvious – through signs such as difficulty to share their thoughts, the feeling of not being heard or understood, feeling being displaced, and unable to claim the individual freedom they’ve fought for others to have – and can become a new normal.

In addition, if there are any other factors to consider, such as physical abilities and the need to adjust in the work environment, it can also play a factor in the veteran’s motivation to reintegrate. With all these things considered, the aim of SHE VET iNspires is to encourage viewers to find their voice, find their creativity within, and live their life “Soaring Out Loud!”
